Zaha Hadid: The Complete Works

When Zaha Hadid won the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2004, her body of work was relatively small but showed great promise. Today, she has designed monumental buildings all over the world from Dubai to Guangzhou. Book publisher Taschen documents it all in Hadid, an impressive 150 page tome dedicated to the complete works of Hadid from 1979-2009.

For the first page of the book, Henry Bourne’s portrait of Hadid was chosen to grace the first plate. Bourne’s other portrait commissions include Richard Prince, Elisabeth Peyton, Sir Terrence Conran, Tom Dixon, Marc Newson, Katzuo Ishiguro, Matthew Williamson, Patrick Caulfield, Philippe Starck, and Vanessa Redgrave.
