Bio: Stephen Youll grew up in a small village in the north of England. He studied art and technical illustration at The New College Durham Art School and Sunderland University. After graduating with a Distinction in illustration, he showed his art for the first time at the World Science Fiction Convention in 1987, and was immediately hired to do his first professional book cover assignments from several publishing companies in the United States. Since then Stephen Youll has become one of the most accomplished artists working in the field of Science Fiction and Fantasy cover art. He has had numerous New York times bestselling covers for authors like George R.R. Martin, Kevin J. Anderson and Brian Herbert, Isaac Asimov, and CJ Cherryh.
