Stephen Bliss
Bio: In 1986, Stephen Bliss started work as an in-house designer for fashion pioneer Hysteric Glamour, Japan. He returned to London in 1990 to establish himself as a freelance illustrator. His clients have included Massive Attack (the iconic Massive Attack v Mad Professor - No Protection album cover), MTV, GQ, Arena, Time, ID, Sunday Times, Time Out, Burton Snowboards, Aardman Animation, Jim Henson's Creature Shop, BMG Records, Nintendo, FCUK, Pepsi and Sony. In the late 90s he started t-shirt company Steroid selling to stores in UK and Japan. He exhibited artwork at galleries in London and received press from Vogue, The Face, Arena Homme Plus, Design Week and Snowboarder. Stephen Bliss is currently the Senior Artist at Rockstar Games in New York, painting and designing promotional artwork i.e. Box and magazine covers, poster/billboard artwork, etc. for Grand Theft Auto 3, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, San Andreas, Liberty City Stories, Vice City Stories, Bully and GTA4. He continues to work on personal artwork and contributes to collective art shows in New York and London.
