Ariana Salvato
Bio: Ariana Salvato is from New York. She attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in 1986, for graphic design & advertising. After school she worked in window display as head visual merchandiser for fashion designer Betsey Johnson and freelanced for Bergdorf Goodman, Henri Bendel & Takishimaya. She has been a freelancer ever since, shifting from store windows to television, video and primarily, print/still photography. Though having worked as a wardrobe stylist in the beginning of her career, she has found the place she enjoys most, as a prop stylist & set designer, which she has done for now for 15 years. Her passion lies in conceptual still life styling. In addition to styling, Ariana has a converted historic mill in rural upstate New York, which she runs as a vacation rental, wedding venue & location for photo shoots. She splits her time between the city, the country and traveling.
